My brother gave me a 26 inch Huffy Mountain bike he had for five years but only put about five miles on it. I replaced both tires and tubes because they were dry-rotted, replaced the seat with a Gell foam comfortable seat with an integrated red blinking rear light, and added a Spedometer with an Odometer. The first year I put 350 miles on that bike!

The second year I added the fenders, Mirror, head light and new tail light, book rack, tool bags, and two more drinking botles. I also added another 650 miles which you can see how, uhm, ~well~ the seat held up after "1,000 miles"
