Here is my extent into "terrestrial" photography. Taking photo's of common "anything" can be quite fun as well as frustrating as I learn what I'm doing. Exposure length, F-stop, Framing, Lighting,... Someday I'll take a photography class so that i can understand what I'm doing right and what I'm doing wrong. In the mean time enjoy what I have here. I do have these saved on a CD in their original high resolution form so If you would like a print suitable for framing just ask. I'll charge you only what it costs me to have them printed up at the local photography store plus any shipping.
Flowers
- Collecting pollen:-A bumble-bee covered in pollen.
- Hello!!-Stretching his arms out wanting you to pick him up!
- Hurting Daisy-poor guy :-(
- Imperfect daisy-
- Lavender-Nearly perfect for a postcard!
- Pink-Turned 90 degrees to the left and you have a perfect picture for framing.
- Three StoogesLots of single flowers out and about but this was the only cluster I found. Almost like three people singing on stage, or better yet, the three stooges - Moe, Larry, and Curly. I'll let you decide which is which.
Insects
- Dinner:-(orb weaver?)a huge garden spider eating a bumble-bee. This guys body had to be an inch and a half, and then there's the legs!
- Grasshopper portrait:-This guy sat there watching me as I snapped 10-15 images about six inches from him. Every time I moved for another shot he would turn his head to watch me.
- Grasshopper in profile:-I have a 20x16 with a gray inlay so he stands out. Very Nice!!
- Tatoo'ed Spider found in a building I work in. Many smaller spiders here and there and this one was nearly twice the size, though still small he measured about the size of a bumble bee.

Rainbow
- Rainbow-1:-Just about sundown. a very bright Rainbow. Notice the sky is brighter Inside the arc that outside?
- Rainbow-2:-Just about sundown. a very bright Rainbow. Same here, the sky inside the arc is brighter.
- Rainbow-3:-Past sundown. a very bright Rainbow. Same rainbow but from the other sided of the street. Here you can see the clouds turn orange from the already set sun behind me
- Rainbow-4:-Past sundown. a very bright Rainbow. I tried to get the whole rainbow before it disappeared.
